Data about music follows us on the social grid and across mobile music applications as we create ever more data about our music consumption, streaming behaviour, preferences, purchases and concert attendance. In this class, we will discuss the sources and uses of data as a strategic asset and understand the methods by which decision makers use and analyse data about music itself, music discovery and music consumption in the effort to drive competitive advantage.
